Galwegians 20 – Corinthians 7

Galwegians overcame Corinthians easily in U21’S Cup Final on Saturday.

Wegians were on the score board after ten minutas after Corinthians were penalized for a delayed throw in centre David McCarthy touched down for an easy score which was converted by outhalf Dave Clarke.

Galwegians keeped the pressure on the Cloonacauneen side for the rest of the half and were awarded a penalty on thirtyseven minutes which first centre Tadgh Leader converted. Corinthians in the second half were unable to gain any ground on the Renmore outfit.Leader again converted another penalty half through the second half.

They finished off the game with sub Rory Cunningham getting in for a touch down Leader again converted.Corinthians got a concillation try in the final play of the game it was scored by outhalf Mike O Flynn he also converted same.The final score was Galwegians 20—Corinthians 7 which was well refereed by Karol Collins.
