Corinthians had a comfortable win over Buccaneers in the senior cup  in Cloonacauneen on Saturday. Both sides were under strength but the home side started brightly with winger James Buckley getting in for an early touchdown with out half Conor Murphy converting same.Second row Gary Ward got in for another touch down midway through the first half as did scrum half Eoin Griffin both were converted by Murphy.Fullback Adam Kennedy replied with two penaltys for the visitors before the break leaving the home side leading by twenty one points to six.

Murphy converted a penalty after the break which was reciprocated by Adam Kennedy.The home side were awarded another penalty on the Buccs five meter line and a cheeky cross kick by the outhalf to Buckley on the wing caught the visitors off guard which resulted in another try Murphy converted same.Corinthians finished off the game with another fine try after a good scrum and with quick ball out the line for fullback Darren Classens to get in for the touchdown Murphy again converted.The final result Corinthians 38—Buccaeers 9.Ref Karel Collins.

Corinthians will now take on Galwegians  in  the final for the coveted trophy.
