On Saturday last Carrick U15s played Connacht kingpins Galway Corinthians at Woodlawn in a highly entertaining, skilful & committed game.
With Corinthians wanting game time for their large panel prior to their Connacht League Final the game was played in a number of sessions.
The visitors were superior in age, weight & overall size but the tenacity & sheer courage of the Woodlawn boys shone like a beacon & not for the first time this season.

Corinthians had a well deserved win against visiting Midleton in Cloonacauneen Park on Saturday playing in terrible conditions.The home side started brightly with the conditions in there favour and attacked at every opportunity with veteran scrum half Mick Roche egging the pack on. [..]
On Sat 26th of Feb the Seniors will play Terenure at home with a 5pm kick-off under floodlights. Immediately following this will be a Race Night in the Clubhouse and this will start at 7pm. It is €20 per horse and that includes a free ticket for admission to the game and race night and there are prizes for the winning horses on the night.
